Research Interests

Dr. Qin has focused on diagnostic imaging of lung and heart diseases, especially lung tumors, lung infections and coronary heart diseases for more than 10 years. His master's thesis discussed pulmonary fungal infections after liver transplantation. His PhD dissertation is a experimental study on tracking the differentiation of adipose derived stem cells modified with HO-1 gene into cardiomyocytes by multimodality molecular imaging. 8 of his scientific papers on chest/cardiovascular imaging have been included in SCI and EI database.
